Position: ServiceNow Developer - Journeyman with Security Clearance
Description We are seeking a talented and driven Service Now Developer with hands-on expertise in the Dev Ops Change Velocity module, particularly with experience integrating Service Now and Git Lab. The ideal candidate will design, configure, test and optimize workflows enabling automated change management and Dev Ops best practices across the enterprise. This role requires significant expertise in handling multiple complex work assignments, where innovation and originality are key.

The Service Now Developer should have a strong background in Dev Ops and experience in the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and managing the Service Now Dev Ops module, ensuring seamless integration and automation across development and operational processes. Additionally, the Service Now Developer should have experience with the Service Now Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

Requirements
* Technical Development:
* Design and implement robust solutions for the Service Now Dev Ops Change Velocity module, aligning with industry best practices and organizational requirements.
* Develop and maintain seamless integrations between Service Now and Git Lab, ensuring real-time visibility and automated workflows for code changes, CI/CD pipelines, and change approvals.
* Configure and customize Service Now Dev Ops Change Velocity policies, triggers, and automation to streamline change management, reduce manual intervention, and enable continuous delivery.
* Work closely with Dev Ops engineers, application teams, and Service Now administrators to gather requirements, resolve issues, and deliver high-value solutions.
* Align application data to the CSDM and import data into the CMDB.
* Develop technical documentation, integration guides, and user training materials to support adoption and knowledge transfer.
* Testing and Troubleshooting:
* Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of Service Now applications.
* Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions with end-users and gather feedback for improvements.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Service Now and Dev Ops processes.
* Stakeholder Communication:
* Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new functionalities.
* Contribute to key deliverables and performance metrics, ensuring they are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

* Clearance:
* US Secret Clearance

* Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

* Experience:

* In-depth knowledge of the Service Now platform and its modules, including Dev Ops Change Velocity, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and PPM
* Experience as a Service Now Developer, with a focus on module configurations and integrations with other tools.
* Technical

Skills:

* In-depth knowledge of Service Now development, particularly Dev Ops Change Velocity
* Familiarity with Agile methodology
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
* Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
* Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)

* Soft Skills:

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
* Service Now Certified IT Service Management Implementation Specialist
* Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab)?
