Pay Range

$16.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Base pay provided by SENTA ENT and Allergy Physicians. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Northeast Georgia ENT, an affiliate of SENTA Partners since 1971, is a trusted specialty healthcare provider in the Northeast Georgia community. SENTA Partners is a leading Management Services Organization (MSO) specializing in comprehensive support to ENT and Allergy private practices.

Within the scope of credentials and licensure, a Medical Assistant performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Clinical duties include taking vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications and injections as directed by a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records.

• Assist the physician with patient care during office visits.
• Assist the physician with patients by telephone, including instructions for sick patients and prescription refills.
• Assist with triage and minor office procedures.
• Assist in the management and treatment of reactions which occur secondary to immunotherapy.
• Maintain an aseptic environment appropriate for a medical office.
• Educate patients on their physical condition, treatment plans, use of equipment and medication delivery devices, environmental controls and any other issues which may affect patients' care.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• CPR Certification preferred
• Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, preferably in ENT or Allergy
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications
