Note:

Benefit eligibility can vary by position depending on shift status. To participate in certain benefits you must be enrolled in an Amedisys medical plan. Some benefits are for full-time caregivers meeting certain requirements.

• Responsible for working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred

• One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.

* Note:

If the SLP - CCC certification has not been obtained, the candidate may be placed in the SLP Clinical Fellow (CFY) position with required supervision and mentoring.
