RAD Technologist Assistant - Practice

Assists Imaging Technologist with imaging procedures. Assists in delivery of imaging services. Responsible for loading and unloading multi-viewer. Burning disc, scanning films, faxing reports, moving patient files in the AW mammography computer system; must maintain QC records verifying receipt and/or shipping back of outside films.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in use of medical terminology.
• Previous experience using computer applications.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and work in fast pace environment.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

• Experience in clinical patient care, preferably in a Radiology or other hospital/medical office environment.
