We are seeking a Part-Time Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team in Gainesville, GA. This is an on-site role requiring 24 hours per week.

About The Job

Imagine empowering individuals within a dedicated patient community to overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. As a trusted clinical partner in our employer-sponsored health center, you'll deliver compassionate, whole‑person, integrated mental health care, guiding patients through personal stressors related to relationships, family, parenting, and more. You'll champion emotional wellness and healthy behavioral habits, utilizing evidence-based interventions and a strengths-focused approach to foster sustainable change.

Collaborating closely with medical providers and a supportive mental health leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming lives. Picture helping an employee regain their footing after a personal crisis, contributing to a healthier and more resilient workforce.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide compassionate, whole‑person care to a dedicated patient population, offering individual and/or family counseling to help them manage stress, improve relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies.
  • Seamlessly connect patients with long-term therapy, psychiatric services, or vital outside resources when needed, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Champion engagement by raising awareness of mental health services through client‑driven wellness initiatives.
  • Educate and empower patients (and occasionally employers) with valuable knowledge about emotional and behavioral well‑being.
  • Lead proactive outreach efforts, including check‑ins, engaging wellness programs, informative workshops, and active participation in health-related events.
  • Bridge the gap to community resources, addressing social determinants of health like access to food, transportation, or medication to enhance overall well‑being.
  • Collaborate closely with medical providers to gain a holistic understanding of each patient's health journey, ensuring smooth care transitions when specialty referrals are necessary.
  • Contribute as an integral member of an integrated care team, aligning corporate wellness goals and strengthening support throughout the health center.
  • Identify and address social determinants of health, such as access to food, transportation, or medication, and help patients navigate available solutions.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with health center staff, leadership, and client partners to achieve shared objectives.
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of patients and the center, knowing that your insights and flexibility are valued.
