Pastor

As a Part-Time Worship Pastor, you'll help shepherd our congregation through biblically faithful, Christ-centered worship. You'll plan, lead, and cultivate worship services that glorify God, share the gospel, and encourage everyone to participate. You'll also recruit, train, and disciple our amazing volunteer musicians and vocalists while working closely with pastoral leadership to support our church's mission and vision.

• Plan and lead weekly worship services that are theologically sound, gospel-centered, and engaging.
• Select songs that align with Scripture, our church’s beliefs, and sermon themes.
• Lead worship vocally and/or instrumentally with excellence and humility.
• Model a heart of worship that prioritizes God’s glory over performance.

• Recruit, train, schedule, and shepherd our volunteer musicians and vocalists.
• Foster spiritual growth, unity, and accountability within the worship team.
• Lead rehearsals that are both musically effective and spiritually uplifting.
• Provide pastoral care, prayer, and encouragement to team members as needed.

• Collaborate with the Pastor on service flow and sermon series planning.
• Prepare setlists, charts, and arrangements in advance for weekly rehearsals.
• Participate in staff meetings as scheduled.
• Assist with special services like holidays, baptisms, communion, and events.

• Knowledgeable in basic church production technology, including sound systems, presentation software, and livestream support.
• Ability to oversee and troubleshoot basic audio/visual needs during services.
• Maintain and care for worship-related equipment and resources.
• Communicate clearly with volunteers about technical and service needs.

• A growing, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A clear calling to worship ministry and pastoral leadership.
• Demonstrated humility, teachability, and servant leadership.
• Agreement with our church’s statement of faith and core values.
• A lifestyle consistent with biblical standards for church leadership.

• Proficient vocalist and/or instrumentalist (guitar or keys preferred).
• Ability to lead congregational worship confidently and skillfully.
• Experience working with volunteer worship teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Prior experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting preferred.
• Formal theological or musical training is a plus but not required.
