Overview
Become a Delivery Specialist – Hub at O’Reilly Auto Parts to deliver parts and/or products to stores and distribution centers safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center, maintaining a daily city route manifest.
- Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, ensuring deliveries are made according to set schedule.
- Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure; maintain vehicle and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Clock in/out according to company policy; check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
- Verify all invoices and signs the route manifest with designated team member at each store; report any delays to city delivery supervisor and/or remaining stops.
- Communicate problems or special needs from stores to store management; maintain a personable image to maintain good customer relations.
- Legal required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
