Fire Sprinkler Superintendent

Position: Fire Sprinkler Superintendent - 5 Years Experience Required
Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman / Fire Sprinkler Superintendent

Gator Fire Equipment Co seeks experienced fire sprinkler foreman or fire sprinkler superintendent for immediate hire.

Candidates MUST have the following:

Familiarity with and understanding of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14 and 20 and the ability to apply the appropriate sections of these standards in the field, as well as discuss them with AHJs and the builder/developer.

5 years sprinkler fitter foreman and/or 3-5 years fire sprinkler superintendent experience.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test and motor vehicle records review.

Must be able to lift 60 pounds.

Must be able to endure the physical rigors of light duty construction work.

Oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and AHJs in a positive way.

The right candidate is able to serve as a liaison between Gator Fire, the AHJ and the builder/developer; and has a calm demeanor with political savvy.

Organizational skills and ability to manage their time efficiently in a largely unsupervised position.

The ability to travel 75% of the time.

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have the Following:

Experience with multi-family.

HS Diploma or equivalent. Vocational training a plus.

Fire Alarm knowledge and experience.

Fluency in Spanish.

Pay is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
