Summary of the CE (Clinical Educator):

Clinical Educator is responsible in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the education of facility staff, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the CE (Clinical Educator):

• Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the education requirements of staff.
• Ensure that reference material (i.e., PDR’S, Federal and State Regulations, etc.) is maintained and up to date.
• Recommend to the Director written material that will assist the nursing service department in meeting the day-to-day needs of residents.
• Assist in preparing written and/or oral reports of the nursing service programs and activities to submit to such committee(s).
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements of the CE (Clinical Educator):

• Long Term Care experience is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience as a CE (Clinical Educator) is preferred.
• Must be able to move, lift, and position patients.
