The North Florida/South Georgia VA Healthcare System's Chief of Staff Service is seeking an experienced and dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Ideal applicants are those who want to contribute to the achievement of quality care standards, as well as the growth and development of a VA academic hospital program.
DutiesThis position will serve as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Women Veterans Program at NF/SGVHS. This department reports to the Office of the Chief of Staff. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Maternity Care Coordinator (MCC) is an integral member of the nursing team and performs more complex nursing assignments within their setting at the GS‑7 level. The incumbent participated in direct and indirect nursing care, health maintenance, patient instruction, collaborative planning as within scope of practice and consistent with his/her education training.
The LPN possesses comprehensive practical nursing knowledge and skills in specialized procedures and practices.
