In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment and admission of patients into the healthcare facility, ensuring a smooth transition into care while coordinating with the healthcare team to address patients' needs.

Job specification

• Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless admission process and appropriate level of care.
• Accurately document all admission activities, assessments, and patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Admissions Unit, focusing on enhancing patient outcomes and improving overall unit efficiency.
• Participate in unit-based training, workshops, and continuing education courses to enhance skills and knowledge.

Candidate requirements

• BSN and associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program are required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or a related clinical setting.
• Experience in an admissions or case management role is preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
