Job Summary and Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation; advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues; identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety; ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment; educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with RN diploma.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • 1 year of RN experience in an inpatient rehab setting preferred.
  • Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred.
