Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Pulmonary team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized care to patients with respiratory conditions.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pulmonary Unit is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of respiratory disorders.

• Provide direct patient care in the Pulmonary Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, pulmonologists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions, including medication management, breathing exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
• Assist in the management of patients on mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending training and educational sessions related to pulmonary care.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a pulmonary or respiratory care setting preferred.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
