Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary Unit in Gainesville. This fast‑paced unit cares for patients requiring specialized pulmonary treatment and offers an excellent opportunity to grow your clinical expertise while working with a supportive and experienced team.

• Collect and assess comprehensive patient health data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and procedures.
• Advocate for patient safety while ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care consistent with unit standards.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).
• Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact License

• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required;
  BSN preferred
  .
• Certifications: BLS (required before start date), NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days of hire).

• Comfortable with a 7:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio

• Must live within 60 minutes of Gainesville.
• In‑person interview required , including shadowing and a facility tour.
