Registered Nurse Specialist | Medical Specialties | Day Shift

Join UF Health as an RN Specialist in Medical Specialties on a Day Shift, Full-time basis.

The Registered Nurse will possess specialized knowledge and skills to provide patient-centric care in a physician's office setting. Responsibilities include clinical nursing assessment, acting as a patient care advocate, providing support, counseling, and education to patients. The role involves patient case management and/or performing specialized procedures, collaborating with other healthcare providers and ancillary services. The nurse will also direct clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulatory institutional policies under the supervision of the Manager/Medical Director.

Flexibility to float to other UFHP practices as needed is required.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of specialty experience or two years of ambulatory care or hospital-based experience preferred.
• Current licensure by the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
• Proven ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work effectively in a team.
• Excellent patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, cognitive abilities, team focus, and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
  Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for business purposes.

• Licensure/Certification:
  Current Florida RN license; BLS certification required within the first month, obtained through AHA or Red Cross.
