Student Assistant - Marketing Assistant Classification Minimum Requirements
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus. Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
The OpportunityThe duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
Social Media:- Assist with the creation and execution of social media content and campaigns across Instagram and Facebook.
- Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for new social media marketing initiatives.
- Conduct market research to inform campaigns and strategies.
- Collaborate with the Student Health Care Center providers and other departments
- to develop content and marketing materials.
- Create marketing collateral, including flyers, posters, and digital content using tools
- such as Canva.
- Edit and update website content using Word Press.
- Process and respond to emails sent to the shared inbox
- Support coordination for marketing activities and outreach efforts.
- This position offers a consistent weekly schedule from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, totaling 20 hours per week.
- The exact days and hours will be collaboratively determined and agreed upon by both parties before the start date.

The SHCC is fully accredited by the AAAHC and is located in a new state-of-the-art WELL-certified building on UF’s campus. Medical services offered at the SHCC include primary care, sports medicine, urgent care, gynecology, psychiatry, allergy/immunization clinic, and travel medicine. Radiology, pharmacy, lab, and physical therapy are also on site.

Expected Salary$14.00 hourly
Required Qualifications- This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus. Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week.
- Demonstrated interest in the Marketing/Communications field and social media
- Prior experience in marketing or social media
- Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort engaging with incoming students and their families.
- Familiarity with Word Press and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Health care marketing experience is a plus.
