Door Manufacturing Team Member

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Door Manufacturing Team Member to join our production team at Abel Door & Trim located at 235 FM 371 in Gainesville, TX. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating saws and pneumatic tools, reading tape measures, performing basic math, communicating well and working effectively with others to complete daily tasks.

• Operate saws and other cutting equipment safely and accurately.
• Read and interpret tape measures and production instructions.
• Perform basic math to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.
• Use pneumatic and battery‑powered tools for assembly and fabrication.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently with attention to quality and detail.
• Assist with material handling and other duties as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus.
• Comfortable using power tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16".
• Basic math skills required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.

• This role operates in a production & manufacturing door shop where the noise levels can be moderate, and the work involves physical labor.
