Aerocontact is seeking an experienced Industrial Manager to join our program teams.
MissionThis position will work independently to ensure the successful industrial representation and performance within program teams and the Integrated Program Team (IPT). The manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of each program, from design through manufacturing, ensuring that industrial commitments align with program objectives and the broader industrial strategy. The role includes managing resources, budgets, production processes, and quality standards to meet technical, cost, and scheduling goals, fostering collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments, optimizing industrial practices, and maintaining effective customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Program Representation and Leadership:
Act as the industrial representative within the program team and the IPT. Ensure industrial commitments align with program tollgates, schedules, and broader strategy; coordinate with Supply Chain IPT representation. - Design and Industrialization:
Plan and ensure manufacturing resources are prepared and capable of producing according to technical requirements, production rates, schedules, and cost objectives; propose and implement industrial schemes linked to the company's strategy, including Make/Buy decisions; manage the industrialization budget and non-recurring costs. - Manufacturing Performance:
Oversee industrial process performance and adherence to cost objectives; manage production issues and recovery plans; ensure timely customer deliveries and maintain quality standards; manage cost reduction plans. - Change Implementation:
Implement and manage changes in design and industrial schemes across the supply chain; ensure manufacturability and consistency of proposed changes from “as planned” to “as built”. - Quality Assurance & Program Coordination:
Ensure design and industrialization processes (e.g., APQP) maintain high-quality standards; provide customer interaction on all industrial aspects under delegation from the program director.

Qualification:
B.S. degree in a related technical field or an Associate degree with 6 years related experience or 12 years of job‑related experience in lieu of a degree. - Work Experience – Technical Knowledge: At least five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related capacity. Solid understanding of product development stages and industrialization strategies (APQP), exposure to new product development strongly preferred, knowledge of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and technologies, understanding of logistics and supply chain dynamics, ability to analyze and manage costs, read and interpret technical documentation.
