This position, part of the University Bursar department within the CFO Division, is responsible for providing effective leadership within the University Bursar team by managing operational processes along with providing strategic support and analysis. The individual will direct and manage select operational teams associated with Student Account Services, Sponsored Student Billing Services, Waivers & Exemptions, and Student Refund Services. The incumbent must drive transformation, manage change initiatives to ensure successful implementation, possess strong relationship-building and communication skills both in person and in writing, and model exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Direct and manage operational teams within Student Account Services, Sponsored Student Billing Services, Waivers & Exemptions, and Student Refund Services.
- Provide oversight to managers on day-to-day operations to support business strategies, emphasizing continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.
- Drive transformation and manage change initiatives to ensure successful implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and effective communication in writing and verbally.
- Model and promote excellent customer service across the organization.
- Minimum:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience, or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of experience. - Preferred:
Ability to work and maintain effective working relationships with others; understand, interpret, and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; communicate effectively in writing and orally; complete work according to scheduled deadlines; work with limited supervision; utilize problem-solving techniques; work independently.
Expected Salary: $82,000 - $90,000 annually.
