Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience; or completion of the ninth grade and three years of experience.

• Deliver and set up stages, tables, chairs, podium, materials and equipment for commencement ceremonies, departmental programs and other special events.
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as required.
• Move and transport furniture for departments and academic units.
• Deliver and install restroom and hand sanitizing dispensers.
• Assist HPWT Zones with cleaning and maintaining hallways, offices, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms, elevators, entrances, walkways, steps, patios and concourses.
• Perform sweeping, dusting, dust-mopping, wet mopping, spot‑mopping, spot‑washing and cleaning of walls, doors and partitions.
• Empty and clean all waste cans, trash cans, recycle bins, water fountains and doormats.
• Assist HPWT Zones with other tasks as assigned or required.
• Complete training prescribed by Facilities Services Training and Education Department and the University’s Compliance Training.
• Follow and adhere to all Building Services Standard Operating Procedures, and Facilities Services Policies and Directives.

Normal work schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Workdays and shift times may vary in response to customer needs for special event coverage and/or departmental needs. Some overtime may be required. Total hours per week is 40. Management retains the right and discretion to modify schedules, building assignments, shifts and/or days for operational purposes. Position is considered as Essential Personnel as defined by UF Policy.

$16.00 to $18.95 hourly.

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience; or completion of the ninth grade and three years of experience.

• High school diploma and two (2) years of commercial custodial experience.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and standards.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.
• Ability to work in elevated environments.
