Club Service Attendant at Fitness Ventures, LLC (Crunch Fitness)
Job SummaryPrimary responsibility is to perform and oversee the servicing, repair, and maintenance operations for all building and equipment related to the club. The role serves all areas of the club to improve janitorial/facility maintenance through servicing, education, and guidance of the janitorial/club staff.
Key Responsibilities- Execute club inspections per Corporate Facilities Department standards, ensuring preventive maintenance and safety protocols are maintained.
- Provide feedback to General Managers (GM) and address maintenance deficiencies.
- Schedule all services/tasks with the GM and coordinate with AMT and New Club Development (NCD) for new club walk‑throughs.
- Review inspection results to identify training opportunities and trends.
- Train new Club Managers on approved Facility Training Programs and daily tasks needed to manage the Club Service Attendant position.
- Provide general direction and technical expertise to janitorial and club team members.
- Schedule and monitor CSA weekly activities, and host regular meetings and training sessions.
- Coordinate vendor-sponsored training and manage training certifications for CSA’s.
- Oversee special projects, ensuring scopes of work and vendor quotes align with objectives.
- Maintain Open Wrench and Work Order Management, including review, loading, and closing of work orders.
- Execute monthly club audit utilizing GO CANVAS.
- Knowledge of janitorial servicing and maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication, organizational, and training skills.
- Problem‑solving abilities and guidance skills for club team members.
- Organized, capable of managing a multi‑task environment.
- High level of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and excellent work ethic.
- Understanding of liability, general safety, and injury prevention.
- Experience with CMMS Open Wrench and web‑based applications.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
- GED or High School diploma.
- Complete all onboarding training and all Crunch‑approved training provided by the assigned Area Maintenance Technician.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities/janitorial maintenance.
- Minimum 1 year of prior operations/maintenance experience.
- Minimum 1 year of janitorial maintenance experience.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance in a health club or retail environment.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., bend, squat, reach, and stand for long periods.
- Exposure to maintenance chemicals, cleaning supplies, and occasional grease/oil from cardiovascular equipment.
- Maintain suitable transportation and a company‑provided basic tool set, and inventory it monthly.
- Report to work in a Crunch Fitness–approved uniform.
- Job may require travel to a nearby club.
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical equipment.
- General knowledge of maintenance and proper chemical use.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States pursuant to state and federal requirements. Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. including required documentation for e‑Verification.
