IT Analyst III
- IT Governance - Lead and direct efforts to create, modify, and maintain enterprise governance documentation, including: policies, standards, baselines, best practices, and guidelines.
- IT Risk Analysis - Lead the UF and UF Health risk management practices and programs by conducting risk analysis and reporting results to stakeholders using problem solving, analytical thinking, information capture, workflow analysis and business acumen.
- IT Compliance Strategy - Lead UF Health and support UF IT compliance efforts, working with enterprise tools and units to ensure UF Health complies with internal and external governing bodies. Coordinate with privacy, legal, internal audit, and compliance offices to ensure a consistent enterprise posture.
- Mentorship and cross-team collaboration - Mentor and guide level one and two analysts on risk methodology, governance documentation, compliance evidence gathering techniques, and professional development.
- Disaster Avoidance - Lead in developing IT disaster avoidance and incident response programs to protect the university's assets.
- User Education and Awareness - Support the education and training of UF and UF Health staff regarding IT and Security user education programs.
- Miscellaneous - Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Engage in research and self-study for professional development. Communicate and interact with peers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of professional information technology experience, with two years of that experience in an information security role. Work experience in an information security or information technology role may replace education requirements on a year-for-year basis.
