UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry‑level part‑time Web Technician to join the Center for Instructional Technology and Training (CITT), a unit within UFIT. Web Technicians assist Education Training Specialists and Web Services in the CITT to create accessible, visually engaging, and user‑friendly digital content. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to learn and apply web accessibility tools—such as Site improve—and use web tools to identify accessibility issues across UF websites.
Knowledge of HTML & CSS is preferred.
In‑office position; work location: the Hub, room 221.
Key Responsibilities- Review web content and use accessibility tools to ensure ADA/WCAG compliance.
- Edit websites in web content management system using HTML and CSS.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Deliver quality customer service.

Preferred Qualifications- Ability to work with various teams.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of web programming languages such as HTML and CSS.

Level 1 Criminal Background Screening is required.
