Job Description

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an intermediate-level Application Developer Analyst III to join Reporting and Analytics, a unit within UFIT.

UFIT enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using Hi Per Gator .

As a key contributor to the Reporting and Analytics Team, you will participate in a variety of projects collaborating with other Data Analysts on development of data models, operational and analytical reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations for customers across the University. This intermediate-level role under general supervision requires an individual with deep technical experience, excellent leadership skills, outstanding business acumen and a broad range of knowledge to work with various teams across campus, as well as senior leadership.

The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with a proven ability to work in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment. High attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity are a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the requirements gathering, design, development, maintenance, support and documentation of Reporting and Analytics objects including logical data models, operational reports, and dashboards across multiple data domains supported by the UFIT Enterprise Reporting and Analytics team.
  • Provide direct customer support to ensure availability and performance of existing reports to customer base. Support customer inquiries by debugging reports, researching data pipelines from source to reporting warehouse target and collaborating with the Data Engineering team on necessary corrective measures.
  • Provide training and guided assistance to customers on reporting best practices and use of university supported toolsets.
