IAM IT Manager

University of Florida – Division of Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking an IAM IT Manager to join the Infrastructure and Communication Technology (ICT) unit.

The IAM IT Manager will provide technical leadership for the IAM team and be responsible for architecting, operating, and maintaining the UF IAM infrastructure with a strong understanding of IAM concepts, identity governance, directory services, authentication, and authorization systems in a higher education environment.

• Provide technical leadership to the IAM team to ensure highly available and reliable identity & access management systems.
• Design, implement, and manage IAM infrastructure components.
• Create and maintain automated workflows to support availability and reliability of critical systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve existing workloads and develop innovative solutions.
• Research new technologies and assist business‑case preparation for future initiatives.

• Master's degree and at least two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree and at least four years of relevant experience; or an associate's degree and at least six years of relevant experience.
• Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience but does not negate the minimum degree requirements.

• Advanced technical knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Experience with container technology (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of SAML and OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or Power Shell, and experience using Git for version control.
• Experience with infrastructure orchestration tools (Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, or Grafana stack.
• Knowledge of relational databases (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, Oracle) and SQL query construction.
• Experience with API management tools and messaging platforms (Rabbit
  
  MQ).
• Experience managing Active Directory, Shibboleth, Grouper, and Duo MFA infrastructure.
• Experience with code development methodologies, testing, and debugging.

• Competitive salary range: $90,000 – $95,000.
