Hospital Valet Attendant - AM​/PM - Weekends

• ** Compensation**: $11.50 per hour plus $3‑$5 per hour in tips.
• ** Work Schedule**: 5:30 a‑1:30 p and 1:30 p‑9:30 p.

The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. The Associate parks and retrieves guest vehicles safely and assists with luggage and bell services during arrival and departure.

• Greet guests within five feet with a friendly demeanor.
• Use guest last names and proper phone etiquette.
• Park and retrieve vehicles safely while driving cautiously.
• Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage.
• Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
• Provide directions, reservations, and information on outlets, meeting rooms, and local attractions.
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival.
• Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys.
• Maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt for all vehicles in the valet system.
• Consistently calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
• One (1) month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Basic English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Manual transmission operation is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical demands: stand, sit, walk, run, lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and 50 pounds frequently.

The majority of work will be performed outdoors under all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Employees may be required to travel up to 5% of the time.
