CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

* New employees of the Department of Military Affairs will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

* This position is a Cooperative Agreement position.

Minimum Qualifications .

* Must be able to obtain a completion of a favorable National Agency Check background investigation clearance.

* NOTE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* A High School Diploma AND

* Three (3) years of professional, full-time-equivalent related experience.

* Education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist the Engineering Administrator and Engineering Specialist in maintaining Project files on computer and in physical file. Schedule meetings with Contractors and Architects for DPW Engineering Section. Compile pre-construction progress data based on technical reports and contacts with agency and local officials. Compile accurate data based on information secured from reports from Local, State, and Federal Agencies. Maintain warranty logs of all new construction and tracks warranty repair request, call contractors, and arrange for site access to the site.

* Assist in the development and submission of State and Local forms to Saint Augustine CFMO. Create and maintain accurate spreadsheets with project data updated weekly. Work with Archive files to convert to new format.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

* Ability to review and correct documents in Word, PDF, and other Microsoft formats

* Ability to communicate effectively with others in writing as indicated by the needs of the audience

* Ability to listen to what other people are saying and asking questions as appropriate

* Ability to use logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches

* Knowledge of how to find information and identifying essential information

* Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to produce accurate reports or presentations
