Florida Capital Bank is seeking an enthusiastic and service-minded Personal Banker to join our Gainesville team.
In this role, you will be more than just a banker, you will be a trusted partner in your customers' financial journey. - Branch hours are Monday-Friday, 9-4, with no scheduled Saturday hours!
What You Will Do
- Build meaningful relationships with new and existing customers by delivering personalized financial solutions.
- Process a variety of transactions such as opening/closing accounts, handling teller functions, wire transfers, and loan applications.
- Engage in proactive outreach, including follow-up calls, appointment scheduling, and occasional outside calling to attract new clients.
- Support the branch team with daily operations, branch opening/closing responsibilities, dual control duties, and compliance audits.
- Identify and refer customers to appropriate products, services, and team members to ensure their full financial needs are met.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and service goals while complying with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
- A minimum of2 years of experience in a bank or credit union setting, with a focus on sales, service, and branch operations.
- A customer-first mindset and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Effective communication and multitasking skills, with a commitment to teamwork and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of retail banking products, deposit/lending regulations, and customer service processes.
- Sound knowledge of BSA/AML regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with commercial and residential mortgage products is a plus.
- High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
