Key Responsibilities Underwrite first and second mortgages in compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements Perform preliminary reviews and support final underwriting reviews, ensuring data integrity of loan files Monitor the mortgage pipeline and facilitate communication with outside vendors to expedite the loan process
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred; experience may substitute for degree Minimum of two years of related experience in a credit union, bank, or financial institution Hands-on experience with Encompass within the last 12 months Knowledge of the mortgage process from origination to post-closing Detailed knowledge of secondary market guidelines and some regulatory knowledge
