University Auditorium Facility Assistant

• Unlocking and securing the facility for business operations and events
• Attending to UF Performing Arts and UF School of Music equipment per training
• Answering general inquiries and fielding phone calls from current and prospective clients
• Assisting in preparation of the venue for events of varying scope
• Attending to the integrity of venue security and providing access for students, clients and patrons as authorized
• During events, answer patron questions, check belongings not permitted into the hall
• Log lost and found items
• Assist venue leadership with event setup and breakdown as needed
• In the event of an emergency, rely upon training to assist in evacuation or respond as appropriate

$14.00 per hour

Candidates are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week. Ability to speak and write English fluently, lift 30 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a pleasant demeanor under adverse circumstances

Prior customer service experience, Venue or Event Management experience
