We are currently searching for an experienced Drainage Engineer to support our Southeast Region located in any of our Florida offices.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Collect data for project plans and reports.
  • Design stormwater management, storm drain, soil erosion and sediment control systems using engineering software.
  • Analyze and design hydrologic and hydraulic models for transportation improvement projects.
  • Permit through regulatory and water management agencies.
  • Prepare project plans using CADD software including Micro Station, Open Roads, Civil3D, and/or AutoCAD.
  • Prepare engineering reports and calculations for complex projects.
  • Assist in preparing construction details, quantities, cost estimates and specifications.
  • Review quantity estimates, details and drawings for compliance.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules.
  • Collaborate across disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee design activities, supervise production efforts, and mentor junior level staff.
  • Perform additional professional, management, marketing and networking duties as assigned.
What You Need To Have
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering (Master’s in water resources fields a plus).
  • Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Florida required.
  • 5‑10 years of progressive drainage/water resources experience, including FDOT experience.
  • Experience with Micro Station, Geopak, Civil3D, Storm CAD, ORD, ICPR, HEC‑RAS, GIS and/or SUDA software.
  • Strong knowledge of FDOT standards and Florida DEP and Water Management Districts.
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening per federal guidelines.
  • Post‑offer fit‑for‑duty evaluation if applicable.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.
