Job DescriptionA Post-Doctoral Associate position is available to work on a project on the TOU high-resolution spectrograph and the DHARMA optical telescope with Dr. Jason Dittmann in the Department of Astronomy. This position is available immediately and is open until filled. We have a position available in our group to work on the development and operation of a high-resolution optical spectrograph on Mt Lemmon in Arizona.
We are looking for an individual familiar with the operation of high-resolution spectrographs and developing data pipelines associated with these instruments. This instrument aims to perform radial velocity measurements of exoplanet host star.
- Ph.D. in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, or Computer Science by the appointment date.
- Experience in operation of high-resolution spectrographs and data reduction, radial velocities, and some experience in instrument.
