Faculty position in the University of Florida College of Nursing for DNP or PhD applicants with expertise in psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, and/or family health nursing. 12‑month, 1.0 FTE non‑tenure track role focused on teaching in the DNP program and specialty courses in the BSN program.

• Teach didactic and clinical courses in the DNP and BSN programs.
• Collaborate with faculty teaching teams to ensure excellence in course delivery.
• Maintain clinical expertise and credentials appropriate to specialty and teaching responsibilities.
• Engage in professional development to enhance teaching.
• Participate in curriculum development to enhance DNP and BSN programs and maintain excellent student outcomes.
• Collaborate and/or lead scholarship related to clinical expertise or nursing education.
• Provide professional service to college, university and profession commensurate with rank.
• Engage in clinical practice commensurate with clinical credentials.

• DNP from an accredited institution by date of hire.
• For applicants holding EdD or PhD in nursing, a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Recent clinical experience.
• RN or APRN license. Florida licensure expected by date of hire.
• Professional certification in area of expertise.

• Teaching experience.
• Evidence of clinical scholarship.
• Evidence of professional contributions to the nursing profession.

Commensurate with education and experience.
