Minimum Requirements:
A doctorate in sport management or a related discipline is required by the start date.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in sport management.
- Develop and update courses, incorporating face‑to‑face, hybrid, and fully online formats.
- Integrate experiential learning, including internships and capstone projects.
- Innovate teaching methods, technologies, and experiential opportunities that prepare students for the evolving sport industry.
- Engage students, foster critical thinking, and create student‑centered classrooms.
- Required:
A doctorate in sport management or a related discipline. - Preferred:
Proven experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate students and a demonstrated commitment to service at the department, college, and professional levels. - Preferred:
Expertise in core areas of the sport management curriculum, such as marketing, finance, sociology, and law, and experience supervising internships and capstone projects. - Preferred:
Teaching experience in areas including ethical issues in sport, sport sociology, sport marketing, sport sponsorship, sport business and finance, event and facility management, esports, sport law, and sport analytics.
