Responsibilities
:
- Extension Faculty In-Service Training Coordination: Coordinates the statewide In-Service Training (IST) processes and the transition to the PEARS reporting platform. Provides guidance to faculty on scheduling, program entry, and reporting requirements. Collaborates with ABI and IFAS Information Technology to ensure smooth system operation and user experience. Assists in the migration to a new platform, preparing communications, timelines, and training materials for faculty participants.
- Faculty Development Support and Communication: Monitors participation and completion data for faculty training programs to aid planning and decision-making by Extension Administration. Serves as a point of contact for faculty regarding training registration, reporting, and logistics for the professional development processes. Summarizes recurring training requests, coordinates feedback mechanisms to inform future offerings, and collaborates with colleagues to enhance communication workflows.
- Department Analysis and Special Project Support: Assists in the creation and analysis of current and historical data sets to support departmental, administrative and organizational needs. Provides support in analyzing data by producing clear, accurate documentation for internal and external reporting purposes. Contributes to the development and administration of department and county surveys, specialized reports, and assists with departmental data analysis projects to inform decision-making and improvement opportunities.
Expected Salary: $48,000 - 55,000/annually, commensurate with experience and experience

QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree and extensive experience with UF/IFAS Extension programs and Florida Cooperative Extension Service processes and procedures
- Familiarity with current IST system, PEARS software, as well as faculty development and training coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
