The University of Florida School of Music invites applications for a non-tenure track, promotion-eligible, full-time Lecturer position in Vocal Coaching
- Collaborative Piano. We seek a colleague who will play an essential role in our voice area both artistically and instructionally. The successful candidate will provide individual coaching to graduate and upper-division undergraduate voice students, collaborate within the opera theatre workshop, teach diction classes, and perform for auditions and graduate student voice recitals along with other assigned duties. The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate closely with voice faculty and contribute to the overall mission of the voice program and School of Music.

Responsibilities- Coach graduate and upper-division undergraduate voice students
- Coach/collaborate within the opera theatre workshop
- Teach diction courses
- Perform at graduate students recitals, and other assigned duties
- Participate in shared governance through service to the School, College and University
The School of Music, organized within the College of the Arts, plays an important role in the academic and cultural life of the University. The School includes 40 full-time and nine adjunct faculty, serving about 200 graduate and 200 undergraduate music majors. Degree programs include B.A., B.M., M.M., D.M.A., and the Ph.D. in music education, composition, ethnomusicology, and historical musicology, with emphases in performance, music education, theory, composition, music history and literature, ethnomusicology, conducting, and sacred music.
