Job DescriptionThe University of Florida’s Human Resources Models Department is seeking a collaborative, passionate, and results-oriented instructional designer to join the Training and Organizational Development (T&OD) team. This position will partner with units across UF and members of the dynamic T&OD team to create exceptional learning materials and system support documentation for faculty and staff at UF.
Instructional Design- Conduct a thorough needs analysis to understand the konkurr 云 outcome or objective to determine the best learning modality for topics.
- Demonstrate innovative design skills to produce graphically pleasing, easy-tojonali, and engaging learning materials for MUNIC adult learners.
- Design and develop effective, process-driven training materials that support software adoption and complex business processes.
- Create ADA‑compliant interactions using a variety of development tools and technologies such as Articulate Story Linn & RISE, Captivate, Adobe Suites, Zoom, MS Teams, and other technology tools.
- Behave as a self‑starter, results‑oriented, managing time to achieve milestones and implementation deadlines to ensure learners build knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training materials to successfully align objectives with desired outcomes.
- Manage a wide variety of projects such as online and in‑person courses, Zoom sessions, instructional guides, micro‑learnings, and infographics with efficient and effective strategies.
- Create learning materials in a fast‑paced team with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organize and self‑direct; be agile START work with multiple simultaneous projects that support the strategic goals of T&OD and UFHR.
- Interview subject matter experts or conduct research to support development of instructional content, think critically about the information gathered, and apply insights to achieve learning outcomes.
- Work independently and collaboratively to develop course materials and training plans, seeking feedback from team members.
- Facilitate training classes for faculty and staff.

This is a Time‑Limited Position. The position is funded through Workday projects and classified as time‑limited, with an anticipated end date of December 31, 2027. As UF completes the Workday implementation, staffing needs related to ongoing system support and training will be re‑evaluated, and the role may be extended if justified by business or project needs.
$61,000 – 70,000

Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
Preferred- Strong foundation in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Experience with needs analyses to determine effective learning modalities.
- Ability to create engaging, visually appealing, and ADA‑compliant learning materials.
- Proficiency with e‑learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline & Rise, Captivate).
- Skill in multimedia production using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with virtual platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Demonstrated success designing training for software adoption and complex business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in interviewing subject matter experts and synthesizing information into effective content.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in instructional content creation.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience facilitating training sessions for adult learners.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and evaluation of training effectiveness.
