Job Description

The MIGS faculty member will contribute to the division's missions of complex gynecologic surgery
, patient care
, education
, research
, and clinical innovation
.

Minimum Requirements

Medical Degree or equivalent, active or eligible Florida medical license, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) board certified or eligible. Completion of an approved fellowship in MIGS.

Responsibilities
  • Providing advanced laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic, and office-based MIGS care
  • Managing complex endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, infertility-associated pathology, and surgical complications
  • Teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, with future involvement in fellowship teaching
  • Participating in departmental and hospital committees, quality initiatives, and multidisciplinary conferences
  • Contributing to scholarly work, clinical trials, AI-driven analytics, surgical outcomes research, and innovation projects
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to expand programs in pelvic pain, deep endometriosis, uterine fibroids, surgical outcomes, and digital health

Compensation

Expected Salary: Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Medical Degree or equivalent, active or eligible Florida medical license, American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) board certified or eligible. Completion of an approved fellowship in MIGS.

  • Preferred:
  • Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS)
  • Demonstrated excellence in complex laparoscopic and robotic surgery
  • Experience with endometriosis care, pelvic pain management, multidisciplinary coordination, uterine fibroids and fertility-sparing care.
  • Evidence of scholarly productivity, clinical research involvement, or program-building
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
