Job Description:
The Department of Urology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Urologist with clinical expertise in genitourinary reconstructive surgery. The position is at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level for a full-time, non-tenure faculty position who will enjoy a balanced academic appointment.
- Provide clinical expertise in genitourinary reconstructive surgery, with preferred experience in robotic and open surgical approaches to upper and lower urinary tract reconstruction, urethral reconstruction, and urinary fistula management.
- Serve as part of a department recognized for clinical and research excellence in Urology; participate in general, endourology, urologic oncology, female, pediatric, male-infertility, reconstructive, and renal transplant urologic surgery as appropriate.
- Potentially organize a multidisciplinary transitional urology practice with pediatric urology colleagues to care for pediatric patients transitioning to adult care.
- Engage in research activities as aligned with the UF College of Medicine, with opportunities for intramural and traditional funding; participate in clinical trials in collaboration with UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute and UF Cancer Center.
For candidates with interest in research, the UF College of Medicine offers intramural funding opportunities and traditional government funding mechanisms. Protected time for research is available for qualified candidates who receive funding. Mentorship is provided for candidates without prior independent research experience or funding.

Minimum RequirementsApplicants must have an M.D. degree and be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida and be board certified or eligible.
