Pediatric Neurologist - Clinical Ast​/Aso​/Professor

The University of Florida (UF Health) Pediatric Neurology division is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Neurologist with specialized training and expertise in movement disorders. This faculty position offers an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in clinical care, research, and education in pediatric movement disorders. This is a non-tenure accruing position. Rank will be assigned based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical care to pediatric patients with movement disorders, including dystonia, chorea, ataxia, tremors, tics, and other hyperkinetic or hypokinetic disorders.
• Develop and lead specialized movement disorder clinics and programs, including those involving deep brain stimulation (DBS), botulinum toxin injections, and other advanced therapies.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, genetics, and other specialties to provide multidisciplinary care.
• Engage in clinical research, including investigator-initiated and collaborative studies in movement disorders.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows within the Department of Pediatrics and Neurology.
• Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and community outreach efforts.
• Maintain an active role in professional organizations related to movement disorders and pediatric neurology.
