Job Description:
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is seeking a candidate to fill a 0.50 FTE to 1.00 FTE position for a General Pediatrician at UF Health Pediatric Primary Care clinics covering one or multiple locations within Jacksonville.
This position will report to the Chief of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville.
The successful candidate will have ambulatory practice experience and the ability to increase patient volume and service capacity. The major responsibilities for this position will include providing direct care to children, directing day to day operations, growing the patient base, and adhering to productivity and billing expectations. Clinical duties may also include coverage of the newborn nursery at UF Health North or downtown Hospitals.
Participation on committees to represent the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of General Academic Pediatrics as required. Attendance at Department faculty meetings and Divisional conferences as required.

Expected Salary:
Negotiable base on experience and academic appointment.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must possess a MD/DO degree and possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
