Title:
CLIN AST/ASO PROF
General Duties: Primary duties include providing high quality direct patient care for both inpatients and outpatients for a wide variety of neurosurgical cases, with specific emphasis on Neuro-Trauma. Secondary duties include clinical teaching of trainees in Neurosurgery and participation in the educational and research programs of the institution. Participate as a member of the Neurosurgery team through collaborative conferences. Rotational Level 1 trauma call for the organization.
Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions, and institutional committees as requested.
Additional Responsibility: The successful candidate will be part of the division of acute care neurosurgery and will work to enhance and further develop the Acute Care Neurosurgery division, including building interdepartmental collaborations and treatment protocols as well as clinical and translational research and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements: MD/DO in Neurological Surgery;
Must possess a Florida Medical License or Medical Faculty Certificate and have specialty interest and experience in Neuro-Trauma/Acute Care Neurosurgery.
Required Qualifications: Candidate should be an MD/DO in Neurological Surgery. Must possess a Florida Medical License or Medical Faculty Certificate and have specialty interest and experience in Neuro-Trauma/Acute Care Neurosurgery.
Preferred: BC/BE or equivalent in Neurosurgery is preferred.
