We are seeking a qualified Optometrist to join our team in a full-time, on-site position located in Gainesville, FL. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect any ocular conditions or diseases. Responsibilities include prescribing corrective lenses, educating patients about eye care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide the best care possible. Additional tasks involve keeping accurate patient records, staying updated with current technologies and eye care methods, and ensuring a positive, welcoming experience for all patients.

• Proficient in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing ocular conditions
• Skilled in prescribing corrective lenses and developing treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate and interact with patients
• Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining precise patient records
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
• Licensed to practice optometry in the state of Florida
• Experience with using advanced diagnostic tools and technologies is a plus
• Commitment to continued education and staying up-to-date with advancements in eye care
