Hematology Hospitalist – University of Florida
The University of Florida Department of Medicine seeks a full‑time Hematology Hospitalist for a clinician–track position within the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant Professor rank or higher. The successful candidate will provide inpatient hematology consultations (focus on non‑malignant hematology), participate in the education of medical trainees (medical students, residents, hematology/oncology fellows), and engage in quality and safety initiatives. Leadership and research opportunities are encouraged, and tracks may be tenure‑accruing or non‑tenure‑accruing.
Responsibilities- Perform inpatient hematology consultations with a focus on non‑malignant conditions.
- Educate medical trainees, including medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives within the division.
- Engage in leadership activities and contribute to institutional quality improvement.
- Develop and pursue research and scholarly activities as appropriate.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
- Eligible for a Florida Medical License.
