UF College of Medicine - Jacksonville seeks six Emergency Medicine physicians (up to full time) for UF Health Durbin Park in St. Johns, Florida. Candidates should possess broad clinical experience in community emergency medicine. Each must be an MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine with experience in all aspects of patient evaluation and treatment.
Duties include:
- Provide high quality patient care in all aspects of Emergency Medicine
- Collaborate with healthcare team members including nurse practitioners, nursing staff, pharmacists, and others
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, consulting services, and specialty providers
- Participate in peer review, quality assurance, departmental meetings, and other clinical and operational meetings as requested

Future expansion may include additional hospital beds and an ambulatory surgical center.

Commensurate with education and experience.
Required QualificationsLicensed to practice medicine in Florida (Chapter 458, Florida Statutes) plus four years of appropriate experience; completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Certification/Licensure in Florida and Federal DEA Certification
- Medical Degree – M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Board certification in the appropriate subspecialty
- Completion of an accredited residency program
