Join Our Team as our Outreach/Care Coordinator!
Are you passionate about supporting families and fostering early childhood development? Join our SWAG Family Resource Center team located in Gainesville as our Outreach/Care Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in supporting parents/caregivers of children aged 0‑8.
This grant‑funded position reports to the Resource Center Manager.
What You’ll DoAs the OCC, you’ll provide ongoing care coordination, educate families about developmental milestones, and collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners to provide education about the Help Me Grow system, while ensuring families have access to quality services. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Gainesville community, helping families thrive while promoting the importance of early childhood development.
The OCC position involves a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of three to four days per week at one of our Family Resource Centers and/or in the field meeting with partners and participating with community events.
Bachelor’s degree in special education, early childhood development, social work, psychology or related health or human services field. (Associate’s degree in early child development or related health or human service field, plus two years of experience working with children and families also accepted.)

Qualifications:
A valid Florida driver’s license and professional experience in child welfare or outreach preferred. Spanish language skills are a plus!
- Knowledgeable & Resourceful: Has a deep understanding of early childhood development, developmental milestones, and Florida’s system for early childhood services. The candidate should be eager to learn about local programs and referral processes.

Location: SWAG Family Resource Center, Gainesville, FL
Salary Range: $20.44 to $23.56 per hour
