$34,760.00 - $38,236.00 annually $1,336.92 - $1,470.62 biweekly
the hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary.
specific duties and responsibilities
provides administrative support to the program operations administrator (poa). This position requires independent work and decision making in preparing correspondence and reports for supervisor's signature; dispersing incoming information to facility/department staff and independently initiating special projects.
operates computer, printer, copier and fax machine. Responsible for entering and retrieving data from electronic files for compilation of reports and/or information requested to include but not limited to entering resident incident report data, processing and tracking client trust and trust account funds.
independently prepares memorandums, letters, forms and other documents in response to incoming mail, phone calls, assignments and special projects; ensures they are completed timely and accurately. Reviews all documents for the poa's signatures prior to the poa's review for accuracy and compliance with internal operating procedures and protocols.
establishes and maintains all records, files, correspondence and reports. Develops systems for retrieving data from files. Researches, collects and prepares reports to be used by the poa from assignments or data requested from administration and tracks assignments and reports through completion and resolution of the request to ensure timely submission.
coordinates and/or oversees personnel activities for the facility/department as designated by the poa, including but not limited to scheduling/tracking of new employee facility orientation, processing the separation of employees, filling vacant positions, maintaining a current facility table of organization.
schedules appointments for and maintains the poa's calendar and appointments. Receives visitors and screens incoming calls and answers inquiries of moderate complexity. Takes and delivers messages to staff.

position requirements
- a valid florida driver's license.
- if hired with an out-of-state license a valid florida state driver's license must be obtained within 30 days.
- corrective lenses restricted license are acceptable provided the driver wears the corrective lenses while operating a state vehicle.
- must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
- must be willing to work beyond the normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels and meet the needs of the agency.
this position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.
