Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.

• Point of Service Operations - Greets patients and confirms appointments, communicates with families the procedures and guidelines for referrals, answers questions, collects insurance documentation, and driver s license.
• Explains and satisfies any necessary patient signature requirements.
• Receives and directs telephone calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Calls patients to confirm appointments and notifies clinical staff and service coordinators of patient arrivals.
• Prepare compliance reports of all scheduled appointments, no shows, cancellations, and attended appointments to assist with statistical reports for the Early Steps contract with CMS/DOH.
• Record filing with Iron Mountain, chart filing, and creating charts for new clients.
• Sorts and distributes mail.
• All other duties as assigned.

Expected Salary: $15.85 - $19 per hour depending on education and experience

• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.
• Preferred: High School Diploma and two years of clerical/customer service experience, preferably in a health care or education setting serving the pediatric population. One year of computer inputting data and reviewing patient demographic material preferred.

This is a time-limited position. Time limited positions are based on circumstances, such as funding sources, which control the length of time for which the position is available.
