Job Description
  • Timely and accurately establishes suppliers in the myUFL accounting system. Initiates contact with suppliers to ensure the information provided is accurate and complete and verifies suppliers’ banking information. Processes requested corrections, departmental verifications, international supplier requests, wireless device allowances, etc. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the myUFL supplier file system and the Supplier Portals.
  • Monitors the Supplier Helpdesk phones and My Marketplace supplier emails to answer all questions and help resolve issues. Walks suppliers through the Supplier Portals. Works closely with the entire Disbursements team to ensure timely supplier payment. Offers support in resolving issues with payments, vouchers or invoices. Collaborates with Procurement, UFIT, and the myUF Marketplace team to resolve supplier sync issues and communicates ideas that have potential to make processes more efficient.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Expected Salary

$43,000-$53,000

Preferred

Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices and knowledge of basic arithmetic, office procedures and practices; and of basic filing practices. Ability to reconcile fiscal records; to maintain fiscal records; to compile fiscal data; to work independently; to review fiscal data for accuracy and completeness; to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to an accounting system.
