Peachtree Centre is a 151-bed skilled nursing facility with 40 short-term rehab beds.

Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the occupational therapist's treatment plans
- Observe, record, and report conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties
- Maintain daily treatment records and document progress notes as directed
- Assist the therapist in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment
- Assist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned
- Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to the discipline and responsibilities
- Act in compliance with Ahava Therapy Services’ regulatory and professional standards
- Attend and participate in rehabilitation team conferences and other facility meetings
- Adhere to company and facility policies and participate in quality improvement and safety programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Understand reimbursement by various payers and allocate therapy resources efficiently
- Demonstrate knowledge of OBRA regulations, HIPAA, Local Coverage Determination, and third-party reimbursement guidelines
- Support the company’s mission and vision and project a professional image
- Independently perform duties and recognize situations where direct supervision is needed
- Maintain expected productivity levels
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
- Active South Carolina OTA license or eligibility under state statutes
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong observational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
